My Favorite Color is Your Something Blue

EVA AUSTIN

Age Range: 12 and up

Reading Level: High School

SUMMARY:

Perfect for fans of Kasie West, this fun, light-hearted, and sweet summer romance book is great for teens, tweens, or anyone.

Sometimes, love is messy. The last thing Morgan wants is to spend one of her final weekends before school starts at a wedding in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. But that’s exactly what she’s doing since her favorite childhood babysitter is getting married. Maybe it won’t be so bad—more of a relaxing getaway. But then they introduce her to him.

Will Jameson. Tall. Super cute. And sweet. Or so they say. A younger cousin to the groom, he’s also in the wedding. But…they’ve already met. Briefly. When he spilled blue slush all over her at a gas station. Words were exchanged. And now, the bride and groom are trying to set them up. It’s a good thing Morgan swore off dating until college. There’s no way she’s interested. Right?

Your Something Blue is a sweet YA romance Kindle book with small-town charm and cozy lake-side vibes. The My Favorite Color novels are dual-point-of-view, clean romance books for teens, perfect for readers of any age.

REVIEW:

All I have to say is that Eva Austin is the new Kasie West! I didn’t even think it was possible, but this book proves me wrong.

I LOVED My Favorite Color is Your Something Blue. This quick novel was a clean summer romance. The setting was perfect, and so were the characters. The main character was a bridesmaid for a small mountain town wedding in the middle of nowhere. The novel followed a different plot and story than I have read before, and I liked that. It was short—so short that I read the whole thing on an airplane ride—but it was the perfect length for what I wanted.

It’s a hot take, but I do NOT like hallmark movies or books. They are too cringy and fake, and that is what I half expected this book to be. However, it took me by surprise, as it was neither cringy nor fake. Also, it was perfectly clean!

This is Eva’s first book in this series, and I can’t wait for her next one!

Things to Mention: Two kisses with little to no detail.
