Updated: Jun 17

JO TREGGIARI

Age Range: 12 and up

In the book Ashes, Ashes, you have it all, epidemics, floods, droughts, and a little bit of romance. Against all the odds, sixteen-year-old Lucy survived the plague and the end of the world, taking 99% of the population. As the weather continues to be out of control, Lucy takes refuge in the Wilds of Central Park. She is completely isolated from whoever has lived, until one day she's rescued from a pack of hunting dogs by a boy named Aiden. After seeing Aiden and talking to him, she realizes that she misses society and being social, so she goes to join Aiden's group of survivors. When Lucy finally feels like she will be okay, new dangers arise, and they may be even more dangerous than the end of the world.

Things to mention: There is some violence and a few kisses with little to no details.
